Now Our three years aged homemade Miso is ready to eat!

Named “Gaman 我慢 Miso” it means “patient”
Old Japanese saying, “ishino ue nimo san-nen 石の上にも三年”

Even a stone will get warm if a person sits on it for three years.


“Patience wins out in the end”

Our homemade miso which made in 2017 is now perfectly aged with beautiful aroma and stunning soya taste. It’s good for making Miso soup, marination for grilled fish or meat or as an accompaniment!


Patient will worth it in the future!
Let’s eat Gaman Miso instead of having a party!
Our homemade “Gaman Miso” is on sale in the restaurant as well as new born miso “Kibou Miso”

先日の投稿で、今年4月に作った「希望味噌」のご紹介をしましたが、今日は3年熟成した自家製味噌ご紹介です。

名付けて「我慢味噌」
気温の低いアイルランドでは熟成に時間がかかります。
私の地元の八丁味噌は2回の暑い夏と2回の寒い冬を越してやっと出来上がる、2年熟成だそうですが、これは3年!

「石の上にも3年」
我慢はきっと役に立つ。

今年ご賞味いただくのにぴったりなお味噌になりました。
大豆の味がしっかりと残った美味しいお味噌です!これがホントの手前味噌

今年1年は世界みんなで我慢大会ですね〜♪
