Hot on the heels of yesterday's announcement that we will be able to reopen on 10 May, we can now reveal that our new exhibition, New Perspectives. Acquisitions 2011–2020, will open on 11 May and tickets are now on sale!

Discover a decade of new acquisitions to the national collection in this exciting exhibition which will showcase a selection Irish art, Western art, portraiture, works on paper, and archival material, featuring artists from Peter Paul Rubens (1577–1640) to Alice Neel (1900-1984), and Ilya Bolotowsky (1907–1981) to Mandy O’Neill (b.1967).

The works, many of which haven't been on display before, have been selected by Sean Rainbird, and the exhibition is curated by Janet McLean & Niamh MacNally.
