ANNOUNCEMENT World premieres from two of Ireland's best-loved playwrights coming to the Abbey stages this Spring
➡️ In April a new version of Henrik Ibsen’s #Ghosts2023 written and directed by Mark O’Rowe will open. One of the greatest plays ever written, it is a moral thriller that follows the return of Helena Alving’s son, and the terrifying secret he holds. A Landmark Productions and Abbey Theatre co-production, the play will run on the Abbey stage 15th April to 13th May.
➡️ On the Peacock stage, we have #AnOldSongHalfForgotten, a SOFFT Productions and Abbey Theatre co-production by Deirdre Kinahan that opens a window into the life of an older actor that is living in care with Alzheimer’s disease. Directed by Louise Lowe, the play will run 14th April to 6th May.
