If you could only keep one object that is of sentimental value to you, what would you keep and why?

The workshops and gorgeous exhibition based on this question by artist Elaine Mears opens tomorrow at the Linenhall Arts Centre Linenhall Arts Centre in Castlebar

‘Memories’ exhibition
Tuesday 24 - Saturday 28 January
Bookings http://www.thelinenhall.com / email info@thelinenhall.com / call (094) 902 3733

Elaine’s inspiration for ‘Memories’ came from stories told to her by people in Mayo during dozens of interviews she conducted, each beginning with this question. Popular responses were photographs, jewellery, a pet’s collar..
