Artist spotlight: Íde Ní Shúileabháin

Íde Ní Shúileabháin is an artist with different intellectual ability based in Cork. She is part of the Crawford Supported Studio. Íde embraces everyday familiar objects and objects found in her studio or home to create dynamic and playful still life artworks, utilising a confident line and strong colours and humour to bring the objects to life. Íde’s previous projects and exhibitions include Flat Iron Gallery, New York; Paul Barwell Gallery of Contemporary Art, Colombia; Crawford Arts Gallery, Cork; Cork Public Museum and Sirius Arts Centre, Cobh. A number of her works have been acquired for the National Collection. In 2019 íde was awarded a funded Arts & Disability Residency at Cork Printmakers.
