A special charity concert with Special Guests:
Tom Dunne (Something Happens/Newstalk),
Fiachna Ó Braonáin (Hothouse Flowers/RTE radio 1),
Frances Black & Brian Kennedys “The Junkyard Dogs”
is taking place tomorrow 30th of August in the Sugar Club, Dublin. It’s an evening of music commemorating the 21st Anniversary of the great Shay Connor who lost his battle with cancer in 2001.
The show has been put together by his son, Alan, to celebrate Shay’s great love of music. All are welcome and 100% of proceeds from ticket sales will go to Irish Hospice Foundation. Tickets cost €20.
The line up for the night consists of Tunes From a Misspent Youth (Alan Connor, John McLoughlin, Nicky Scott & Gerry Culloty) with a 3 piece brass section led by Alison Reynolds. The legendary Declan O’Brien will be Master of Ceremonies for the evening.
