To celebrate Swan Lake coming to the theatre from the 11 – 15 January 2023, The Estonian National Ballet and Bord Gáis Energy Theatre are giving one aspiring Ballet dancer an amazing prize.
The winning entry will win an unforgettable experience to take part in a company class and receive world-class dance training from the admired dance company, The Estonian National Ballet, while they are in Dublin next year.
You will win an exclusive backstage tour –including a behind-the-scenes look at the costumes and rehearsals and view this spectacular performance in the best seats in the house. The final Jeté of the competition will be an opportunity to present finale flowers to the Prima Ballerina on stage, along with a group photo with the principal cast members of Swan Lake.
Here are the steps to Sauté yourself to enter this fabulous prize:
Competition opened to ages 13-17
You must provide an audition tape showcasing a short sequence of a dancing set piece along with showcasing a few routines at the barre (during a class)
The video should be no longer than 5 minutes. Upload their video to a dedicated Box link or WeTransfer and email it to SwanLakeEnPointe@bgetheatre.ie
The deadline to enter the promotion is Sunday 02 January and the winner will be selected on the Thursday 05 of January.
You must be available between the dates of Tuesday 10 January – Sunday 15 of January
