How can you improve on perfection?
Well if your planning a new car in 2019 it's easy. Don't be talked into or encouraged to buy the diamond brite or GardEx dealerships apply to uncorrected new cars. These products are simply ways to gain additional margin for the dealership and I can confirm based on experience....do not last or offer any real world protection.
I have never criticised any of these coatings in the past and in fact I have encouraged 100% of the customers who come to me dissatisfied with the results or lack there of, to return to the main dealers and in 90% of cases the main dealer reapplies the coating free of charge.
Please heed my advice. If you have a valuable car and appreciate a high quality finish with a degree of protection far higher than a padre pio sticker and a blessing from the local cleric book your new car into a Detailer who specialises in Ceramic Coatings. Haggle with the plucky sales guy in the slim fit shirt and brow brouges to offer you a discount to cover the cost of proper work.
If not Alphasud and nanolex then another reputable detailer. But please avoid the mistake of dealer applied coatings. Car dealers are exceptional car dealers, in fact they do exactly what they advertise to do. Deal in cars.
Detailers do exactly what they claim too...detail cars. Some would say to a point of ridiculousness but that's what we do. Hours and hours upon countless hour of refining the finish on a factory paint job. But man oh man put two cars side by side same make model and colour and you can see even to the untrained eye the detailer coated car.
Specify from the dealer, as follows. No new car prep....leave all plastics and pre delivery wrapping in tact. Do not wash or clean the car. Do not install licence plates. Ring lovely Joann or Dave at Alphasud who have actual insurance...8000 euros worth to come and collect it or have it delivered to one of our sites
Then tell Wayne and Dave to spend 2 - 3 days making this car the exemplar of the lot. Coated and cared for. Ready for trouble free driving. No 'maintainance kit' required. Just stop by for a chat and a wash every now and then.
The heart ache and money you will save by choosing nanolex and Alphasud will be immeasurable. But your starting on the winning foot. A clean - protected - easy to maintain car to enjoy.

Oh and for the love of all things holy...unless you are some kind of crazy Mary do not get black. Especially if your the kind who likes a quick wash at the brushwash or lives down bramble lane...you'll be driven demented. Grey or Silver is the apathetic car owners colour of choice
